The GoAbroad Foundation invites schools, social groups, churches, sports teams, student associations, and anyone in between to join our mission by becoming a Community Contributor. Whether you’re hoping to fundraise for a project that aligns with your own group’s mission or you just want to help share opportunities to give back abroad, the GoAbroad Foundation can customize a partnership just for you and your team, group-mates, or even family and friends. And don’t worry, we’ll do the dirty work of vetting each organization, verifying their project is legitimate, and getting you the details and updates you are looking for.

How to Become a Community Contributor

Multiply the impact of your giving by joining our community of philanthropists supporting meaningful projects.

1. Choose a project to support.

Check out our Projects in Need to get an idea of what type of projects we support. If you’re interested in committing to long-term giving, take a look at our Ongoing Projects, which require monthly contributions. If you don’t find a project that fits with your goals, just contact us and we’ll find one just for you!

2. Decide how to contribute.

Are you interested in organizing a fundraiser? Do you have a large online network you can promote a project to? Whether you’re interested in making a donation right away or you want to create a unique fundraiser, once you decide how to contribute to a project we can help you reach your goal!

3. Reach out to our team to get started.

We’re here to help you make it happen! Now that you know what project you want to support and you’ve got an idea of how to do it, it’s time to reach out to our team. We’ll help you get the materials you need to make your initiative a success, and we’ll even share what you’re doing too!
